Displayed like a work of art. Graded to the same AP standard.
In the AP Gallery Case, your card takes center stage: it sits in plain view in a clear case with an engraved metal name plate below – like the plaque beneath a painting in a gallery. The grade is on the back. The case is thicker and considerably heavier than our AP Case and turns the highlights of your collection into eye-catchers on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as a gift – at any grade.
As with every AP grading, your card goes into an ultrasonically sealed premium slab – you only choose the presentation.
What’s included
- Condition grade: A score from 0.5 to 10, assessed against the AP Grading standard – exactly as in the AP Case.
- Subgrades included: For an overall grade of 7 or higher, individual scores for centering, corners, edges and surface are included at no extra charge.
- AP Gallery Case: An ultrasonically sealed premium slab, thicker and considerably heavier than the AP Case.
- Engraved name plate: Below the card sits a black metal plate with gold-tone engraving – at every grade. It shows the card name, set, number, year and game, plus the illustrator where available in our card data.
- Grade on the back: The back of the plate shows the grade, subgrades (grade 7 and above), QR code and certificate number.
- Online certificate: Scan the QR code to view the recorded grading details at any time.
- Gold for a 10: If your card reaches an overall grade of 10, it gets a gold-tone name plate.
AP Gallery Case or AP Case?
Both options receive the same grade under the same standard, the same ultrasonic sealing and the same online certificate, and both count towards the same population report. The difference is the presentation: in the AP Gallery Case, the front is given over entirely to the card and the grade is on the back. In the AP Case, the grade sits on the front label above the card and can be read at a glance – handy for sorting and trading. You can combine both options in one order.
Which cards fit?
The AP Gallery Case takes cards of up to 6.3 × 8.8 cm (width × height) in portrait format and regular card thickness – for example Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering or Lorcana. Smaller cards such as Yu-Gi-Oh! fit as well. Not suitable: stickers, landscape cards, larger formats such as jumbo and box topper cards, booster packs, comics, and thick patch or relic cards.
